Dubai: The Queen will be represented for the first time on a UAE racetrack after it was revealed Banknote will run at the 2009 Dubai International Racing Carnival.
The six–year–old had been aimed at the Carnival at Nad Al Sheba previously but setbacks prevented his participation. Banknote showed he was in rude health when winning at Lingfield in the UK on Saturday.
His trainer Andrew Balding said: "The Queen has been very keen to have a runner in Dubai and we tried to get him there for the last two Carnivals but he was never right."
