“Without you we could not have accomplished what we have during the past season, and since the racecourse was set-up in the early nineties.

“We appreciate each of our sponsors, well-wishers and racing fans.

The gala was well-attended by an array of dignitaries, sponsors, supporters, guests, volunteers, members, staff and media.

It was an apt way to celebrate another great racing season which was interspersed with race meetings at the UAE’s four other racecourses at Meydan, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Al Ain.

Jebel Ali Racecourse management worked tirelessly to provide patrons with the highest quality racing, entertainment and facilities.

Much of this is due to the support and commitment of the racecourse’s principal patron, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance

Mirza Al Sayegh, the Director of Shaikh Hamdan’s Office, and who has been a key link between Shaikh Hamdan and the racecourse, chose the occasion to also extend his appreciation to everyone involved.
