Ghantoot: The UAE and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will underline their strong relationship when they join forces to celebrate the 46th UAE National Day at Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club this Friday.
The event will feature a top class exhibition polo game between The Year of Giving Team and The Spirit of the Union Team.
The exhibition game will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club, the UAE’s only Royal Polo Club.
Both teams will be made up of leading Emirati players as well as a professional player.
Guests, students and artists from the KSA will participate in the celebrations.
Saeed Bin Houfan Al Mansouri, Vice-Chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club encouraged people to attend and announced that the event will be free to members of the public.
“On the occasion of the UAE’s 46th birthday we could think of no better way to celebrate the landmark occasion than with an exciting game of polo,” he said.
“It is our duty to engage the UAE community on such a special day and we have made elaborate plans to offer free food and beverages to the general public.
“Out committee has been working hard to ensure that all preparations are in place and visitors can look forward to an enjoyed afternoon’s entertainment provided by the Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club.”
