Dubai: Godolphin will make a two-pronged attack as they bid to add to win a third Artemis Goodwood Cup (Group 2), the second leg of the Stayers' Triple Crown, which is the highlight of day three at Glorious Goodwood.

The Dubai-owned stable has won the two mile contest, one of Britain's leading long-distance races, previously with Schiaparelli in 2009 and Kayf Tara in 1999.

Representing them in today's much-anticipated renewal is Ascot Gold Cup runner-up Opinion Poll (L. Dettori) and John Smith's Cup third Lost In The Moment (W. Buick). The Stayers' Triple Crown also comprises the Gold Cup and Doncaster Cup.

Opinion Poll heads into the race as the firm ante-post favourite having displayed his staying prowess when second to Fame And Glory at Ascot last month.

Trained by Mahmoud Al Zarouni, the Darely-bred son of Halling also placed three times at the Dubai International Racing Carnival earlier this year.

Lost In The Moment represents Al Zarouni's Godolphin work-mate Saeed Bin Surour, who prepared Schiaparelli and Kayf Tara to win the Goodwood Cup.

The four-year-old son of Danehill Dancer is looking for his first European success of the season since he won a competitive handicap on the all-weather at Meydan in January this year.

The Godolphin duo face 14 rivals including Luca Cumani's Manighar and Donald McCain Jrs popular hurdler Overturn. Red Cadeaux appears to be a leading contender for the Ed Dunlop team following his impressive victory in the Curragh Cup, while the Andrew Balding-trained Chiberta King is on a hat-trick.

Overturn is a high-quality hurdler, having landed the Grade Two Scottish Champion Hurdle in 2010, but has also established himself as a top stayer with notable wins at Ayr and Chester.

McCan commented: "Overturn is in good nick… We have always had it in the back of our minds that we would like to take him to the Artemis Goodwood Cup and see how he gets on, so that is what we are doing.

"His Chester win was a good run and I have always felt that Goodwood might suit him. We have put up a good jockey (Richard Hughes). Overturn seems in very good form and the quick ground will be in his favour, so fingers crossed."

Trainer Mark Johnston is set to saddle Fox Hunt, who runs in the colours of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

UAE owners Saif Ali and Saeed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Meydan, have a leading chance in the Group 3 i-Share Fillies' Stakes (registered as the Lillie Langtry Stakes) (Group 3) with Meeznah.
