Saamidd outclasses experienced rivals

London: Newbury sensation Saamidd is among a group of promising two year olds who are tipped to make a profitable impact as the British Flat season enters its final quarter.
The potential Godolphin star stole the show in what was his career-first start outclassing experienced rivals like Yair Hill and Buckland to earn quotes as short as 16-1 for next year's 2,000 Guineas. The following is a look at the top juveniles expected to shine.
Abdicate
Made an eye-catching debut when making up late ground for fourth from a poor draw at Beverley on Saturday. Should open her account soon. (trained by Richard Fahey)
Darajaat
Beautifully-bred filly who showed she had inherited family ability when second to a more experienced rival at Newbury. A Group One entry, she should have no trouble landing a maiden. (Marcus Tregoning)
Edmaaj
Hampered on Sandown debut and got going too late when fifth in the Convivial Stakes at York. Hopefully, the penny is starting to drop for this son of Intikhab. (Barry Hills)
El Muqbil
Rated one of the best juveniles in a stable packed with talent. Mugged in the last furlong of York's Convivial Stakes but that experience should help him to show his true ability next time. (Brian Meehan)
Frankel
On evidence of his winning debut at Newmarket he can carry the name of late US trainer Bobby Frankel with distinction. Tom Queally nursed him home but he will be set stiffer tests this autumn. (Henry Cecil).
Ladies Are Forever
Talented filly not seen since injured when third in the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. Trainer plans to get her back for Redcar's Totepool Trophy in October. (Geoff Oldroyd)
Marden
Kept on for fourth behind Seattle Drive at Newmarket on Friday when racing wide of main rivals. Jockey Martin Dwyer looked after this Danehill Dancer colt who has much more to give. (Brian Meehan)
Nathaniel
Frankel looks useful, but this horse, another son of Galileo, was only half a length behind him at Newmarket and it was five lengths back to the rest. Related to useful duo Playful Act and Percussionist. (John Gosden)
New Planet
A real speedball who landed the Roses Stakes at York under Kieren Fallon with more authority than the bare facts suggest. Will take some beating in Doncaster's Flying Childers Stakes. (John Quinn)
Peter Martins
Already prominent in the ante-post Classic betting after displaying a blistering turn of foot on his Newmarket debut. Should line up in one of the big juvenile races ahead. (Jeremy Noseda)
Saamidd
Stablemate Farhh could have been the Godolphin representative on this list but Saamidd's seven-length victory at Newbury looked even more electrifying. (Saeed Bin Surour)
Warm Breeze
This daughter of Oasis Dream opened her account with a five-length win on her debut at Nottingham. Holds entries in the valuable sales races. (Michael Jarvis)
