Abu Dhabi The Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club will on Friday mark the UAE’s 46th National Day celebrations with an all-action exhibition polo game, talented artists and a record setting geologist.
Visitors and guests to the UAE’s only Royal Polo Club will enjoy a spectacular day out at the iconic Abu Dhabi-based venue surrounded with heaps of fun and festivities.
With the country’s flag comprising the Pan-Arab colours of red, green, white and black flying proudly all over the venue, fans can indulge in the game of polo when the Spirit of Union Polo Team take on The Year of Giving Polo Team in a game.
Each of the teams will feature one professional player.
Argentinia’s four goal player Matias Machado, will team up with Abdullah Bin Dasmal, Khaled Bin Drai and Rashid Al Bawardi in the Spirit of Union Polo Team as fellow countryman, Felipe Llorente, who also plays of a four-goal handicap, joins forces with Fahad Al Qubaisi, Ahmad Bin Dasmal and Yousuf Bin Dasmal in The Year of Giving Polo Team.
The exhibition game will be held under the patronage of Shaikh Falah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chairman of Ghantoot Racing & Polo Club.
Guests, students and artists from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will participate in the National Day celebrations to underline the strength of partisanship between the two countries.

Paintings dedicated to Martyrs from KSA to Martyrs of UAE will be on display while Saudi artist, Hela Al Mohesain, who paints with her feet due to her disability will be showcasing her extraordinary skills.
Sahar Al Shamrani, who made history as the first Saudi woman to travel to the South Pole, will also attend the event.
