Mohammad greets Hamdan, successful UAE team after Czech Republic event

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Sunday received at Dubai International Airport Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, and the Emirati riders who returned to the UAE following their participation in the FEI Open European Endurance Championship 2013, held in the Czech Republic on Saturday.
Shaikh Mohammad also greeted and congratulated Shaikh Rashid Bin Dalmouk, who was crowned champion of the competition.
Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, as well as various sport officials and athletes, were also present at the airport.
Shaikh Mohammad congratulated Shaikh Rashid on his achievement, which he said further consolidated the strong position of Emirati riders in the international level of equestrian sports. He reaffirmed that Shaikh Rashid’s victory was a testament to the capabilities of Emirati youth to compete on the regional and international sports level, especially in equestrian sports.
