Dubai: The Emirates Racing Authority (ERA) have announced the appointment of two senior Officials.
Dr Martin Wainscott will join the ERA Veterinary Regulatory Department. Dr Wainscott, who graduated from Massey University New Zealand, has vast experience in racing veterinary regulation having worked in New Zealand, Australia and Macau. Prior to joining the ERA, Dr Wainscott was Head Veterinary Officer for Harness Racing New South Wales in Australia.
Neil Jennings will join the ERA Handicapping Department as Assistant Handicapper to ERA Senior Handicapper Melivn Day. Neil has been Senior Handicapper for Racing Victoria since 2006 and has been heavily involved in race planning in Victoria.
ERA Board Member Malih Al Basti said: “These appointments reflect the on-going commitment of the ERA to the development and enhancement of integrity services. Both Dr Wainscott and Mr Jennings will bring expertise and experience to our racing. I welcome these appointments.”
