Dubai: Dubai-owned horses were collecting their spoils on a busy day's racing at British racecourses with Zain Al Boldan storming into Classic contention following her resounding victory at Lingfield Park.

Owned by Dubai businessman Jaber Abdullah, and racing under the banner of Rabbah Bloodstock, the Mick Channon-trained filly won the Listed Oaks Trial by six lengths.

Ridden by Sam Hitchcott the daughter of Poliglote exhibited a stunning turn of foot to record the third successive victory of her budding career.

The John Gosden-trained favourite, Field of Miracles, finished second under William Buick with three and a half lengths to the third place Date With Destiny, ridden by Richard Hughes for his father-in-law Richard Hannon.

Run over a distance of one mile and three furlongs the race is a recognised trail for the Epsom Oaks (Group 1). Several horses have won both races while in 2008 Look Here finished runner-up at Lingfield before going on to win at the historic Epsom racetrack.

Zain Al Boldan is a 10/1 shot for the Epsom Classic where Godolphin's recent winner Blue Bunting is the 3/1 favourite. The Lingfield Derby Trail was won by Dordogne, trained by Mark Johnston for Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.

The Singspiel court scored by half a length from stable companion Hurricane Higgins.

However, his Epsom trip is still under consideration. Johnston said: "I spoke briefly to John Ferguson [bloodstock advisor to Shaikh Hamdan] as he was about to board a flight to Dubai.

"They don't shy away from supplementing, but I would think the second will go to Royal Ascot, for the King Edward VII Stakes....It's a shame in a way to see them finish first and second because the second was so green.

"Joe Fanning said he would have won if he'd been able to keep the horse straight."

Meanwhile, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, saw his colours carried to victory at Ascot and Haydock Park.

Alainmaar, trained by Roger Varian and ridden by Shaikh Hamdan's retained jockey Richard Hills, was an impressive winner of the Listed Buckhounds Stakes at Ascot where he outpaced his five rivals to come home a six-length winner.

The win highlighted a great training performance by Varian, who took over from his mentor Michael Jarvis at the end of last season, as Alainmaar was making his first start in over a year.
