Bolger, who won this prestigious contest with Lush Lashes in 2008 and Flame Of Tara in 1983, looks to have strong claims with a filly that narrowly went down to David Wachman’s Legatissimo in the Newmarket showpiece in early May.

She was also long way clear of Irish Rookie and fellow Godolphin hope Local Time, who re-oppose, but will still have to bring her A game to the Berkshire track if she aspires to deny the favourite and Irish 1,000 Guineas (G1) runner-up, Found.

Another horse to watch out for is the French Guineas winner Ervedya. Jean-Claude Rouget’s smart three-year-old ran a good third behind two colts in the Prix Morny (G1) and was second to Found in the Prix Marcel Boussac (G1) on Arc day.

Other runners include David Elsworth’s Arabian Queen, an impressive winner of the Princess Elizabeth Stakes at Epsom, while John Gosden’s saddle the rapidly improving Sperry in Godolphin’s Royal Blue silks and Yasmeen for Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance.

Local Time represents Emirati handler Saeed Bin Surour, who has been a prolific winner at the Royal meeting with 35 successes over the years.

The daughter of Invincible Spirit was unbeaten in three starts during the Dubai World Cup Carnival, including the UAE 1,000 Guineas and UAE Oaks (G3), before he Newmarket failure.

The other Group One race tomorrow is the inaugural Commonwealth Cup, a 1,200metre sprint that promises to be a real cracker.

Shaikh Hamdan is doubly represented with The William Haggas-trained Adaay and Muhaarar, who is trained by a confident Charlie Hills

Muhaarar won the Gimcrack Stakes last season and made a strong seasonal bow earlier this year when taking the Greenham Stakes at Newbury. She finished eighth in the Essai Poulains (French 2,000 Guineas) having been drawn on the wide outside of a 18-horse field.

The Shaikh Hamdan-owned duo face 16 rivals including Godolphin’s Jungle Cat, who represents trainer Charlie Appleby.
