Ajtebi clinches sponsorship deal with leading bank
Up-and-coming UAE apprentice jockey Ahmad Ajtebi has secured a prestigious sponsorship deal with the Commercial Bank of Dubai.

Dubai: Up-and-coming UAE apprentice jockey Ahmad Ajtebi has secured a prestigious sponsorship deal with the Commercial Bank of Dubai.
The unique partnership was announced on Monday by Faisal Galadari, general manager, Business Group, Commercial Bank of Dubai.
Speaking after the official contract-signing ceremony, Galadari said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring a promising jockey like Ahmad Ajtebi.
"It is part of our vision to support horse racing and equestrian sports which have become very popular and important to the UAE.
"We are also committed to supporting and encouraging the youth in the UAE."
Ajtebi was equally delighted to have attracted the backing of the Commercial Bank of Dubai.
He said: "I would like to thank Commercial Bank of Dubai. for their generous gesture and for believing in me. Obviously it is a big boost for my career and it could not have come at a better time, as I have ridden 11 winners.

"I think with this sponsorship we, the Commercial Bank of Dubai, and myself, complement each other as we are both working hard to be the best at what we do."
As part of the association with Ajtebi, Commercial Bank of Dubai will use Ajtebi as a brand ambassador for it's Al Dana Wealth Management programme.
"Al Dana has been designed to suit the requirements of our clients and Ajtebi.
Ajtebi said his motto for the partnership was: "Winning is my goal, but when it comes to investment, I depend on Al Dana."
