Abu Dhabi: The Ajman Stud drove away with most of the six Hummers and seven 4-wheel drives and clinched a major portion of the Dh400,000 prize money on offer at the sixth ECAHO National Arabian Horse Championship that ended here on Friday.
Purebred Arabians bred by the Ajman Stud were the most attractive as fans of the Arabian breed cheered each and every movement by the fine creatures. Ajman Stud won in 8 of the 11 different classes and then went on to dominate the special awards too.
Deska Hje won the prestigious Zayed Memorial Award, while AJ Dinar, a one-year-old colt, was awarded the Emirates Cup by Emirates Arabian Horse Society in the two-day show held under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE.
