Dubai: Stathis Stathis and Nick Evangelopolous clinched the Greensomes Competition over the Majlis course with a 37-point tally.

Starting on the second hole, the duo played consistently well with the highlight being a birdie four on the 527-yard 10th hole. With the format, off 3/8 of their combined handicap, requiring 6 drives each to count they teamed up well by recording 9 tee shots each.

Two pairs recorded 36 points, but it was the superior back nine of 22 points from Trevor Varri and Joel Neale that helped them secure the runners-up position from Bryan Wilson and Mick Brett.
