Dubai: Emirates Golf Club hosted the Address Montgomerie at the Majlis Course in the first leg of the 2012/13 invitational Scratch League final on Saturday. The second leg will be hosted by the Address Montgomerie on Saturday, May 25.
Since November, two groups of six teams have played in a round robin and the top two sides from each group went through to the semi-finals. Two players in the final from either side have the opportunity to extend their 100 per cent record in the competition this season — Ewan Cameron of Emirates Golf Club and Paul Philmore of the Address Montgomerie.
Scratch Golf League co-ordinator Bob Driver said: “Once again we look forward to an exciting finish to this year’s league. We have seen 155 players compete over the season with 16 from Emirates Golf Club and 13 from the Address Montgomerie. Good luck to both teams.”
