Nikolai Norman returned to winning ways by taking the UGA Handicap Scheme's Golf Day held over the Arabian Ranches' Desert Course.

The 14 handicapper returned the best score of the day, 35 full handicap Stableford points. He shot an outstanding front 9 of 20 points and a steady back 9 of 15 points on which he scored on every hole.

Norman also claimed the Nearest-the-Pin award on the 7th hole.

The second-best score of the day came from former European Tour caddie Charles Barwick with 32 points. Barwick held his round together well despite tiring over the closing holes due to the intense heat.

Barwick's 32 points converted to the equivalent of 25 gross Stableford points. This earned the the 7 handicapper the days best gross award.

Multiple prize winners included Agnes Anwar (Division A runner-up and Nearest pin on 2nd) and Rajeh Maalouf (Division B runner-up and Nearest pin on 17th). Remaining prizes went to Jon Yarrow and Pramukh Jeyathilak.

Meanwhile, Ashok Kumar took home the spoils in Clubs on The Majlis' event played by Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club members on at the Emirates Golf Club.

Part of a series supported by Jebel Ali Golf Resort & Spa, each club in the UAE is sending its members to compete in their own tournament on the famous Dubai Desert Classic host course.

Ashok Kumar ran out the winner by a solitary stableford point as he beat playing-partner Christina Yang into second position with his 32 points.

Ashok wasn't finished there though and also collected the long drive award on hole number 16.
