Dubai: The first Carpetland Open of 2008 at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club started of with an amazing tie break of 48 better ball stableford points.

Winning by virtue of a colossal 25 points on the back nine was Patrick Morrow and Mads Thuesen.

Just missing out with a back nine of 24 points and pushed into second place slightly astounded was Francois Borchardt and G. Reid. A distant 5 points back on 43 was Tony Andrews and Arshad Waheed in third place.
