The Desert Course, Arabian Ranches will host the 36 hole Individual Bonus Bogey Tournament on Thursday and Friday.
The tournament has a modified matchplay format against the par of the course, with each player given a handicap allowance of (minus).
The bonus element is when a player scores a net eagle they receive a bonus + therefore ++. A net Albatross (-3 on a hole) receives a triple +++.
The tournament has a 2.00pm shotgun start, with men playing from the Blue Tees and Ladies from the tournament Red Tees.
The event is open to both members and non-members, who will compete in the respective divisions.
Entries till date stand at 33 players with over half the field playing off a handicap of 12 or less.
Notable participants include the recent amateur course record holder Rai Legnar (3), Nick Hopwood off his new handicap of 3, Marc Potter (3) Andrew Burrow (3) Steve Bennett (6) Nick Marriott (14) and Toney Hutchinson (6).
Elliott Gray commented: "We still have a few places available for this weekends 36 hole tournament".
