Dubai : George Khairallah and Adhip Shanker clinched the Dubai Creek Wentworth Invitational over the closing nine holes on Friday.
The pairs scramble format certainly proved to be relaxed but competitive with Khairallah and Shanker winning by virtue of the better back nine with a superb net 33, three under par from playing partners Shahriar and Shahin Khodjasteh, who also scored a net total of 63.6.
Finishing alone in third place with a net 64.7 was Warren Panting and Vanessa North.
The winning pair has been invited to Wentworth for a round of golf on the newly redesigned West course and an overnight stay.
