The inaugural Jumeirah Golf Estates Men's Open sponsored by BMW AGMC takes place on Friday at Jumeirah Golf Estates' Earth Course with 68 golfers taking part in the 36-hole two-rounder which concludes on Saturday on Fire Course.
Split into two divisions with Division A for the 12 and under handicaps and Division B for the 13-24 handicappers, play will be from the medal tee yardage on both courses.
Geoff Hunter general manager of Jumeirah Golf Estates said at the draw announcement: "We are excited to be organising this first Men's Amateur Open. We have been impressed with the entry response and look forward to hosting players for a great weekend of golf. Our thanks particularly go to our sponsors BMW AGMC for their continued support of Jumeirah Golf Estates".
