Dubai: Emirates Golf Club will host the 12th annual IADC Golf Tournament over the Majlis and Wadi by Faldo courses this weekend.
The event, the biggest corporate golf event in the region, has been going from strength to strength ever year and this year's event has will host a record number of participants.
Over 400 players from all over the region will gather to participate in largest single amateur event in the region. Both courses at Emirates Golf Club will be utilised today and tomorrow with participants competing in the traditional 4-man scramble format, with the best-combined total over the 2 days being crowned as the overall winner of the event.
Divisional prizes will also be on offer for the teams and these are always keenly contested.
The event has doubled in size from last year with the organising committee taking the event to new levels.
A gala dinner which will be hosted on the Lawns at Emirates Golf club on Friday evening. With prime sponsors of the event Cameron, National Oilwell Varco and Weatherford being the major backers of this years event it promises to be a fantastic weekend.
