Dubai: The husband-and-wife team of Carolyn and Nigel Thompson won the Hankook Greensomes Championship at the Emirates Golf Club, beating 165 other competitors. The couple stole the show on the famous 18-hole Desert Classic course with a final score of 134.5, 10.5 under par for the championship score.
The Thompsons went into the Hankook Greensomes Championship with a wealth of experience, scoring 4-under-par 69 in their opening, following their win in the Emirates Mixed Amateur Open. Majid Mushtaq Madni and Haneed Rabbani finished runners-up and Kevin Roy and Saeem Rahman came third.
