Dubai: England’s Charley Hull is set to make her fourth appearance in the Ladies European Tour season-ending Omega Dubai Ladies Masters at Emirates Golf Club from December 7-10.

The 20-year-old from Kettering confirmed her Rookie of the Year title here in 2013 and followed it up with the Order of Merit in 2014.

Her best result in three previous appearances since 2013 is a fifth-place finish at 10 under par in 2014, with eighth (two under) and 23rd (one under) place finishes either side.

Buoyed by a strong season, where she finished second in the ANA Inspiration — one of five majors in women’s golf — and two strokes off bronze in the Olympics, she is now looking to end the year on a high.

“I love Dubai and have some fond memories of the tournament and that will definitely be a big help,” she said. “I am really looking forward to my trip. I can’t wait to get started to alongside some of the biggest names in women’s golf,”

Currently ranked 26th in the world, she added: “The ranking is great in a way. But there’s only one place I want to be eventually, and that’s No.1.”

Mohammad Juma Bu Amim, vice-chairman and CEO of Golf in Dubai, said: “Charley is an exciting prospect who can inspire a new generation of players with his enthusiasm for the game. She has definitely matured a lot over a couple of years as a golfer and just as a person as well. I think she has got a great chance to do something special in Dubai. I wish her the best and hope she has a wonderful stay in Dubai.”
