Dubai: Richard Green recorded the best score of the day in the individual (Division A) stableford format to clinch the 14th edition of Dulsco Classic, one of the oldest corporate golf tournaments in the UAE. Vivek Ashoka took home the honours in the Division B category.
In the team category, Johan Thuresson, Richard Green and Tanveer Karamat were crowned as champions after reaching a total of 79 points. Large group of corporate golfers participated in the tournament, which was held at the prestigious Montgomerie Golf Club, Dubai. Howard Jung won the ‘In the Bin’ contest, that was in line with the green personality of the whole tournament.

Corporate golfers have evolved into champions over the years with their skills on field. Even the trophies that were distributed to the winners were made up of recycled glass signifying the importance of recycling. Dulsco Classic brought ‘sustainability’ into greater focus as the game incorporated some innovative ideas to deliver a strong message that encourages us to protect the ecosystem.” added Stockton.
Dulsco Classic tournament is one of the most awaited tournaments of the season among the UAE business community. This year, the event witnessed some nerve-racking clashes among the corporate golfers.
