Gathercole and Broom emerge winners

Dubai: Ian Broom (15) and Mark Gathercole (19) scored 5-up to win the June Lexus Golf Day at the Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Saturday.

The field of 64 players (32 two-player teams) had a 2pm shotgun start with an aggregate bogey team format with full handicap allowance.

The round-of-the-day was by Broom, whose personal gross 80 reduced his handicap to 13 to give the winners a 5-hole victory.
