Dubai: Jumeirah Golf Estates announced the appointment of Mark Gregson-Walters as Director of Instruction at the European Tour Performance Institute (ETPI) on Monday.

British-born Gregson-Walters is a PGA Professional and has over 17 years of experience working in Dubai.

He has been the head professional coach at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club Golf Academy. Director of instruction at the Academy by Troon Golf at the Montgomerie, Dubai and director of instruction for Peter Cowen Golf Academy at Emirates Golf Club, before launching the self-titled MGW Academy also at Emirates Golf Club.

During this time Gregson-Walters has had success with European Tour, Asian Tour, Mena Tour, Ladies European Tour players, and UAE amateurs, who have gone onto become successful US college players.

“We are delighted to welcome Mark today to the team at Jumeirah Golf Estates,” said general manager Neal Graham. “Mark brings with him a wealth of experience in golf tuition and golf specific fitness at all levels both in the UAE and overseas. The European Tour awarded ETPI status to Jumeirah Golf Estates in November 2013.

Located on the practice fairway serving both the Fire and Earth courses at Jumeirah Golf Estates, the range of amenities on offer includes: - a state-of-the-art gymnasium, bio-mechanic & swing studios, the Scotty Cameron putting lab, dedicated short game holes, expansive practice fairway and teeing areas, bunker practice greens, a large contoured putting green, and locker rooms - all instructional programmes include the use of interactive high performance video technology.
