Dubai: Emirates Golf Club hosts Dubai Creek this Saturday in Match Day 7 of the Invitational Scratch Golf League.
This is the debut match for Emirates Golf Club and the second game for Dubai Creek, who lies in first place in League A with five points.
The format is eight-a-side scratch matchplay with the winning overall team receiving two additional win bonus league points.
Meanwhile, the final week of the Emirates Golf Club Par 3 Leagues saw an exciting climax with 10 pairs making it through to the Grand Final in March. The leagues commence again in January with the opportunity for a further 10 pairs to join the qualifiers in a March showdown.
The Monday League witnessed the pair of Glyn Sowerby & Shashi Raghavan continue their superb form and finish top of the league with a 5-week total of 106.
The consistent team of Mitesh Desai & Rajinder Razdan finished second with a tally of 107. Also qualifying from the Monday league were the pairs of Andrew Keir & Sean Fenner, Ivan Fornazaric & Jan Hooftman and Frank Doyle & Louise Doyle.
