Abu Dhabi: In a change from the usual format of a shotgun start the November medal at the Abu Dhabi Golf Club by Sheraton saw tee time throughout the day on the National Course.
With the National over-seeded all players had to walk. This did cause delay throughout the day as most members are not used to walking, however the members that walk regularly managed to return some good scores.
Keeping his good form Kevin Ballinger carded a Gross 74.
Div A (0-10) winner was Geoff Chadwick with an excellent Nett 71 who won from Andy Perry with a Nett 72. On a count back from 3rd was Chris Wilmot with Nett 72.
Div B (11-19) saw Bilal Belaid secure first place with a Nett 69 while in runner-up position was Tadami Mori with a Nett 70. Jim Hutchenson shot a Nett 73 to win third place on a count back.
In Div C (20-28) Ken Sloan won the first place with a Nett 72, while second went to Kamal Belaid with Nett 76. In third was Norbert Kamp with a Nett 77 on a count back.
Taking the Gross with 81 was Sylvie Boulet.
Ladies Silver Div (0-20) went to Helena Cornish with Nett 74. In second was Joanne Kellie with Nett 76 while Michelle Larter took third with a Nett 76 following a countback.
Ladies Bronze Div (21-36) saw Agnes Letier-LAcaze top with a Nett 72 while second went to Akemi Nomizu with a Nett 76.
