Burrow and O'Sullivan win at the Ranches

The two player team of Holly Burrow (14) and Myles O'Sullivan (6) scored a nett 68 for the round of the day to win the Mackenzie Macmillan Greensomes Strokeplay Tournament at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Saturday.

Dubai: The two player team of Holly Burrow (14) and Myles O'Sullivan (6) scored a nett 68 for the round of the day to win the Mackenzie Macmillan Greensomes Strokeplay Tournament at Arabian Ranches Golf Club on Saturday.

The winning card contained the equivalent of a gross 76 with a brilliant back nine of 33 gross - 3 under the card with 2 birdies on holes 15 and 16 and an eagle on hole 13 having started on hole 12 in this shotgun start format with just a single dropped shot on hole 10. The pair stood a remarkable 4 under par gross on tee 2 their 9th hole of their round.

Close scoring

Three other teams also managed nett 68's on a day of close scoring - Jim Prescott (9) and Austin Hulbert (11) won the Men's Division with Ashley Anderson (9) and Adele McKelvey (4) taking runner-up in the Ladies' / Mixed Division with a gross 73 and in third place came Jo Schoeman (5) and Henk Schoemen (9) also on 68.
