Dubai: Jim Badour's cool approach on a steamy day helped him win the September medal at the Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

A fantastic front nine of gross three over par and then keeping his composure in the back nine lead him to a very satisfying victory.

Amir Hussain finished two shots back in the Men's Division B with a net 70 and three clear of the chasing pack.

Dino Varkey managed another solid performance despite his 18th hole blunder to take the overall gross prize with a five over par 76, one shot clear of Peter Shaw on gross 77.

In the Men's division 'B' our club captain, Abdul Aziz Al Hakim got one better this month and claimed the division spoils with a consistent net 72. Four shots adrift on net 76, Chris Wright picked up a surprised second place.

Five juniors battled it out for the best junior prize and it was Abdullah Al Musharrakh with his net 72, clinching it by two shots from Anthony Sa'ad.

Naema Maya with a nett 68 finished ahead of M.J. Lee in the ladies division.'
