The Patrons' Cup is a four-part series encouraging Amateur and Professional golfers to compete in a healthy strokeplay format under the watchful eyes of the PGA tournament committee.

Open to men, women and junior amateur golfers, holding a single figure handicap, and to UAE PGA Professionals, the top 20 finishers will gain valuable Order of Merit points. Full points are being sought by the Professionals and half-points will be up for grabs in the Emirates Golf Federation's Men's programme. Defending his Order of Merit title, professional Richard Sheridan clearly made his intentions known after a strong win in the PGA's Ras Al Khaimah Open last week.

"TNT is delighted to be supporting the PGA in further developing golf in the UAE, from grass roots level through to the committed professional. We are looking forward to hosting all competitors at the Arabian Ranches Golf Club on the 28th where we recently launched the 10-month Amateur Order of Merit series for the third year running, aimed at the amateur golfer across the Emirates." said Mark Woodcock, Sales and Commercial Director, TNT.

"This series is passionately supported by our Patrons, Acuma Wealth Management, Al Naboudah, Auriga and TNT," said Stephen Hubner UAE PGA Tournament Director.
