Dubai: Bradley Webb and Annabel Ayres secured victory achieving a remarkable score of 74 points in the monthly Jumeirah Pairs by The Lounge Spa over the Earth Course hosted by Jumeirah Golf Estates. The duo put on an outstanding combined front nine score of 35 points and then went even better score of 39 points to run away with the victory.
Fergus Gilmour and John MacGregor claimed second place that included an impressive back nine of 40 points, achieving a total combined score of 71 points.
Damian Hitchen and Paul Schwarz clinched third place, scoring a respectable 70 points, which included a fantastic front nine of 38 points.
Exceptional precision
TFA teaching professional Diarmaid Fraser participated in the live “Beat the Pro” competition by hitting an average shot to 30 feet, allowing others to capitalise on a rare bad shot from the TFA superstar. Thirty-two players in the field managed to surpass Diarmaid’s shot, with Simon Brind emerging as the fortunate winner of the raffle, earning a 45-minute lesson with Diarmaid.
The “Nearest the Pin” competition took place on Hole 6, and the victor was James Finnigan, who landed his tee shot a mere 8 feet from the flag, showcasing exceptional precision on the tough par 3.
