Abu Dhabi: Manchester United Soccer Schools (MUSS) in Abu Dhabi begins its new season at the Dome@Rawdat on Airport Road on Saturday, September 29.

The course will focus on a ‘Combine to Attack’ philosophy in a bid to teach children the skills and techniques of central midfielders such as Paul Scholes, Tom Cleverley and Michael Carrick.

Open to boys and girls aged seven to 16, the programme features 12.5 hours of on-field coaching by certified MUSS coaches and costs Dh1,650, which includes a Manchester United training kit and giveaway pack, as well as catch-up sessions and individual player evaluation. Discounts are available to siblings, twice a week enrolments and those who sign up for more than one term.

“We have welcomed more than 40 nationalities to MUSS since we launched in 2010, which is a reflection of the multi-cultural country in which we live,” said Andy Dixon, Head Coach of MUSS in the UAE.

“The response from the community within Abu Dhabi has been fantastic and we continue to see increasing numbers of children signing up to our courses. We see every day at MUSS that football is a sport which really brings the world together.”

All children enrolled will take part in the MUSS series of skills challenges, with the top two points-scorers from the UAE Skills Final receiving an all-expenses-paid trip to Manchester to represent the UAE in the World Skills Final at Manchester United’s Carrington training ground, as well as visiting the world-famous Old Trafford stadium, in 2013.
