Dubai : The UAE will face World Cup finalists Algeria in a friendly today hoping to build on last week's victory against Moldova.
The game in Germany will mark the end of the UAE's training camp in Europe, set up to prepare the team for the Gulf Cup in Yemen and the Asian Cup in Qatar.
Algeria, who will turn out in South Africa later this month, will provide a real test for Srecko Katanec's men after showing a resilient spirit through their World Cup qualifying campaign.
However, the Slovenian coach will be hoping his side can pull off a shock win following their morale-boosting 3-2 fightback against Moldova last Saturday in Austria.
Algeria qualified for the World Cup after beating Egypt in a highly charged play-off last November.
The North African team will face England, USA and Slovenia in South Africa.
