Dubai: Ricardo Oliveira, the Brazilian striker, who showed outstanding scoring capabilities when he returned to Al Jazira in the winter transfer window after being on loan in Brazil following a poor spell last season.
"I am happy to help my colleagues win the double," Oliveira said.
"I was able to show my true worth this time because last season I was suffering from an injury and when I recovered, I was determined to do my best and thanks to all my colleagues they helped me in showing my best. All the goals I scored are a result of team work."
Oliveira has scored seven goals in as many matches he played in the second round.
"I am happy now that the fans of the clubs have at last won the league title after waiting for it for so many years and I am happy living in Abu Dhabi and I am still hungry for more success and I hope that we will achieve a good result in the AFC Championship next season," Oliveira said.
