Dubai: Tomorrow's President's Cup final between Al Wahda and Al Jazira will witness yet another first for football in the country with Dubai-based wTVision presenting a special graphics service showing innovative statistics to television viewers.
For the first time in the UAE, the innovative sportVU system will help viewers gain a better knowledge of their favourite player's performance such as distance covered and at the same time help coaches evaluate their tactics.
The President's Cup final will kick-off at 5.55pm tomorrow at Zayed Sports City. Currently, wTVision is responsible for all statistics and graphics production during live coverage of the UAE Football League (UFL), the UFL Challenge League and the Etisalat Cup being broadcast live on the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Sports channels.
