Sharjah: His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered that two flights will transport Emiratis from Sharjah Airport to Bahrain, to support their national football team in its match against Bahrain's team.

Two flights to transport Emirati fans to Bahrain for Gulf Cup of Nations
UAE-Bahrain football match will be held on Tuesday as part of the 21 Gulf Cup of Nations football competition in Manama.
Dr Shaikh Sultan has instructed the Sharjah International Airport Authority to coordinate with the Sharjah Sports Council and the UAE Football Association, to begin listing the names of Emiratis wishing to travel to Bahrain.
Shaikh Sultan's initiative comes in support of the honourable performance demonstrated by the UAE national team after it defeated Qatar's national team 3-0.
The first flight will leave Sharjah airport on Tuesday, January 8, at 11:30am, while the second flight will depart the airport at 12:30pm.
