Sharjah club's stand-in boss says he must build morale
Wajdy Al Said, the Sharjah caretaker coach, said his first job is to rebuild morale after heavy defeats in recent matches.

Dubai: Wajdy Al Said, the Sharjah caretaker coach, said his first job is to rebuild morale after heavy defeats in recent matches.
"It is not an easy job, there is no easy job for any coach. The first thing I will do is to regain confidence in the players to return to our winning ways, however this will be achieved by great efforts by the players, technical staff, board and supporters," said Al Said.
Sharjah board appointed Al Said last Saturday after firing Dutch coach Van der Lim following a 4-0 defeat by Al Wasl in the President's Cup semifinals.
Not afraid
"It is not the first time for me to be a caretaker coach for Sharjah, this is the fourth time they ask me to take the job. I know all the players because I trained all of them when they were playing in the club's youth teams. So it will not be a problem for me to deal with them.
"We will have only four days before the Al Wahda . It is an important match, a win will lift the morale of the players and help them to win more points in the coming matches. And this will be the only way to return the team to compete for the title.
"I am not afraid to take the job, because I am one of the Sharjah club sons and I have to accept it without hesitation under any circumstances."
