Abu Dhabi: Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates yesterday offered their congratulations to the UAE national Olympic football team and the entire team management for qualifying for the Olympics.
The team received congratulations from His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah, His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, and His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain.
The Rulers also attributed the victory to the great support and attention given to sports by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, also congratulated the team for its historic achievement of qualifying for the London Olympics under the guidance of an Emirati coach.
The players also received congratulations from Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah; Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; and Shaikh Rashid Bin Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla, Crown Prince of Umm Al Quwain.
