Dubai: Pesco, the local sports and events management company has taken the first step towards the launch of their Liverpool FC coaching programme in the UAE by opening a representative office in Al Barsha, Dubai.
The office was opened on September 27 by Dan White, Head of Soccer Schools worldwide for Liverpool FC at a function that was also attended by Nisal Mohammad, Programme Director, Pesco.
The opening of an office in Dubai will kick-start the Liverpool FC coaching programme, which will deliver football development sessions for youngsters across schools in the UAE. The youth coaching project, which will initially focus on schools in Dubai, is scheduled for a start in mid-October.
The programme will provide youngsters between 7 to 15 years the opportunity to learn to play the Liverpool way, improve their football skills and develop in the technical, tactical, physical and social aspects of the game through age-specific coaching sessions.
Under the supervision of coaches from Liverpool, the programme will also focus on improving key life skills of the young participants, including teamwork, confidence, motivation and communication.
