Panasonic Middle East has recently signed a three-year agreement with the UAE Football Association to become the football governing body's official electronics partner.

The electronic giant's logo will be emblazoned on the national team's strip.

Panasonic's sponsorship is based on a number of global events and activities that resonate with the company's philosophy of contributing to society by providing cutting edge technology.

"At Panasonic we're always investing in our future and through this partnership we want to help the UAE FA develop and nurture champions of the future," commented Kamran Khan, deputy managing director of Panasonic Middle East & Africa.

"Football in the UAE is hugely popular and the UAE national teams have been performing consistently at international levels. Panasonic is a company in pursuit of excellence and we are proud to be associated with an organisation that is promoting the talents of a nation in a global arena," added Khan.

The agreement, which will initially cover the next three years, will see the Panasonic logo placed on the jerseys of all the UAE national football teams. The Japanese manufacturer will also have branding rights in the stadiums for all home matches.

This global agreement which ends in July 2014 gives Panasonic a host of marketing and branding rights. Panasonic will also be able to display and market UAE FA national team merchandise.
