New UAE football season to kick off on September 14
The new season of the UAE professional league will start on September 14 with the Super cup, league champions Al Shabab meet President’s cup champions Al Ahli at a neutral ground.
Dubai: The new season of the UAE professional league will start on September 14 with the Super cup, league champions Al Shabab meet President's cup champions Al Ahli at a neutral ground.
The professional league will kick off on September 19 with the 12 clubs taking part: Al Shabab, Al Jazira, Al Ahli, Sharjah, Al Shaab, Al Ain, Al Wasl, Al Wahda, Al Nasr, Al Dhafra and new comers Al Khaleej and Ajman.
The Professional League Association and the Football Association held a successful meeting at the FA premises in Abu Dhabi and agreed for the most important dates regarding the professional league and the national team commitments in the world cup and Asian cup qualifiers in the coming season.
