Nyon, Switzerland: Dynamo Moscow faces Uefa sanctions for overspending within Financial Fair Play rules.
Uefa says Dynamo’s case of failing to break even on football trading has gone to the judging chamber of its panel, which monitors club finances.
Dynamo, who reached the Europa League’s round of 16 this season, spent more on player transfers and wages than its football-related revenue in 2014 financial accounts.
Possible sanctions include deducting Dynamo’s Uefa prize money or limiting its squad size in competitions next season.
Dynamo are fourth in the Russian league and challenging for second place, which earns a spot in the Champions League third qualifying round.
Uefa says cases have been closed against French title contenders Lyon, plus Bursaspor and Anzhi Makhachkala.
Clubs still under Uefa investigation include Monaco, Inter Milan and Roma.
