Real Madrid’s Ronaldo return to Manchester United: Today’s rumours

More on: Ronaldo, Sanchez and Walcott

Last updated:

In what would be the transfer of the window, if not the decade, AS.com is reporting that Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo wants to return to Manchester United.

Arsenal are ramping up their recruitment drive, with the Mirror claiming Arsene Wenger’s side are in talks to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez, who looks to be on his way to United, although Old Trafford manager Jose Mourinho says he is “not confident but not unconfident” of signing the Chilean.

Chelsea have also entered the race for Sanchez, according to the Telegraph.

Everton are still trying to thrash out a deal to bring in Arsenal winger Theo Walcott, but a deal should be done this week, says the Mirror. However, the Sun says Bournemouth have approached Arsenal about bringing in the England star on loan.
