Moscow: The Russian Football Union has announced that the national team will face Portugal in a friendly match on November 13 in London. The match will be played at the Craven Cottage stadium, ground of Fulham FC, taking advantage of the English Premier League (EPL) pause for the Euro 2016 play-offs on November 14 and 17, Efe reported. Russia are a team that brings back bad memories to the Portuguese. The Russian team, also known as Sbornaya, forced Portugal to the play-offs to qualify for the Fifa World Cup in Brazil after a 0-1 defeat in Moscow in 2012. The Russian team was trained by Italian Fabio Capello at the time.
