Dubai: Morocco’s former CAF Confederation Cup winners Fath Union Sport will play Dubai’s Al Ahli in a friendly match here next week.
The friendly, part of the effort from both countries to bridge people through sport, will have a kick-off at 8pm on October 16.
The Moroccan team will travel to Dubai on October 13 and stay at the City Centre Pullman Movenpick Hotel. The friendly match will be telecast live on Abu Dhabi Sports and Dubai Sports. Tickets have already gone on sale at the Al Ahli Club store, the Nike outlet at Dubai Mall and the Pro League Committee in Abu Dhabi.
Fath Union Sport, commonly referred as FUS or FUS Rabat, is currently playing in Division One in the Botola Maroc Telecom [Moroccan Professional League]. Established in 1946, their biggest success came when the Rabat-based club won the 2010 CAF Confederation Cup.
