Bergamo, Italy: Albania, the surprise newcomer of the European Championship, lost their last warm-up to Ukraine 3-1 on Friday.

Albania levelled quickly after conceding an early goal, but gave away another goal at the start of the new half, and Ukraine, also going to Euro 2016, sealed the win with two minutes to go.

A loud crowd of Albanians, who filled half of the stadium in Bergamo, where their team was training before going to France, was quieted as Ukraine completed its fourth win from four warm-ups.

Ukraine midfielder Yevhen Konoplyanka split the defence from the right to set up Taras Stepanenko for the opener, but Albania was level within four minutes through Andriy Pyatov.

Andriy Yarmolenko headed in Roman Zozuyla’s cross moments after halftime, and Konoplyanka finished off the scoring by pouncing on a mistake by Albania defender Ansi Agolli. Albania opens Euro 2016 against Switzerland on June 11, while Ukraine meets Germany a day later.
