Tickets for the much-anticipated Dubai Football Challenge clash between AC Milan and Hamburg SV will go on sale online on Sunday.
Dubai: Tickets for the much-anticipated Dubai Football Challenge clash between AC Milan and Hamburg SV will go on sale online on Sunday.
Organisers of the event have been inundated with requests for tickets as Dubai football fans look forward to the star-studded Emirates Airline and DTCM-sponsored spectacle on January 6.
AC Milan will be based in the city for their Emirates Winter Training Camp.
"We know that there are many football fans eager to get their hands on tickets for what promises to be a truly memorable event on January 6," said Boutros Boutros, Emirates' Senior Vice-President, media relations, sponsorships and events.
Unique event
"This really will be a unique event for the city with a lineup of stars certain to thrill the crowds. We are looking forward to hosting this unforgettable encounter at the newly-constructed Emirates sports venue, The Sevens," he added.
The Dubai Football Challenge is now in its third year and has proven to be a favourite among the city's sports fans, with sell-out crowds for the past two years.
Tickets will be available online through Time Out tickets and Virgin, while retail sales will start in early December at Costa Coffee and MMI outlets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Dnata offices and Virgin stores in Dubai, as well as at The Sevens Ground. Corporate packages will be available by calling (04) 321 0008.
Regular ticket prices are Dh100 for adults and Dh50 for children under 12.
Stuart Webb, Footballs World Series' Chairman, said: "Dubai is getting set to experience a super-game to remember with AC Milan and Hamburg SV, two incredible football teams, going head to head in what promises to be a highlight of the city's sporting calendar.
