Dubai: Australian midfielder Alex Brosque is the latest player to be linked with a move to Al Ain as the UAE Pro League club bid to complete their overseas player quota for the coming season.
Al Ain have room for one Asian player and have reportedly targeted Harry Kewell, Mike Havenaar and Takayuki Morimoto.
Now the Japan-based Brosque has apparently been added to that list after they missed out on Arsenal’s Park Chu-young, who joined Spain’s Celta Vigo instead.
Brosque, 28, has scored 12 goals in 54 appearances for Shimizu S-Pulse and five in 16 for Australia. The UAE’s transfer window closes on October 5.
