Dubai: A video of a Lebanese man announcing his “defection” from the Italian national football team went viral over the internet on Thursday.
Italy bowed out of the World Cup Games on Tuesday following their defeat to Uruguay.
The video shows three men standing in front of the Brazilian flag, mimicking videos released by ‘terrorists’ typically reading statements with their flag behind them.
One of the men declares his ‘defection’ from the Italian football team following its loss, and says he would switch allegiance to Brazil.
The man also produces his identification as the two men standing behind him chant “Takbeer” an Arabic word often chanted by militants invoking the Greatness of God.
