UAE First Division League champions Al Wahda and the President's Cup holders Al Ain continued with their training camps in Europe, preparing for the new season that will kick off on August 31.

Al Wahda, camping in Germany, drew with Arminia Bielefeld 3-3 in their last friendly match in their training camp before returning to the UAE on Sunday to continue with the preparations for their first league match in Ras Al Khaimah against Emirates Club on September 1.

Metrovic, the club's Bosnian striker, scored one goal while his new Brazilian colleague, Fabio Junior, added two to hold the German club who are placed 17th on the Bundesliga standings this season after playing two matches losing both.

Meanwhile, in Spain, Al Ain, preparing for the quarterfinals of the Asian Champions League, lost to Numancia, who were relegated last season to the Second Division in Spain.

The lone goal was scored from the penalty spot by Miguel Angle Lopez in the last minute of the match played on Wednesday.

Al Ain custodian, Moutaz Abdullah, was the star of the team and won the hearts of the Spanish spectators.

Al Ain will face First Division side Getafe tonight before leaving for Italy to hold the last phase of their preparations. They will play Roma on August 24.

Al Ain open their league campaign against Al Nasr.
